this week we've been reading thru the book of Revelation... it's pretty incredible. last year we read thru the whole old testament, so this year it's the new testament : )

we don't really read from start to finish, but kinda do one book/chapter of the new testament at a time, then skip ahead and read another one.

my favorite book of the new testament would probably be Matthew or Luke... they're some really great ones. then my favorite from the old testament would definitely be Psalms... it's always been my favorite! but riiiight after that one would be Proverbs... when i was young, my mom taught me Proverbs chapter 3, and i've almost always remembered it. my favorite verse(s) from that chapter would definitely be verses 5-6... Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
my mom's dad gave her that verse before he died, so it's always been a special verse in our family.

right now i'm doing a devotional called Devotions for the God Girl by Haley DiMarco... it's really good. it's not too fancy... it's just a 365 day devotional, with a special verse/chapter to focus on each day, with a point/lesson to go along with it. i really like it so far, and it's easy to relate to.

sometimes, i just like to go outside, and lay in the grass, and read a book or just rest. God's creation is s.o. beautiful. there's nothing like it! just to lay and hear the birds chirping, the wind blowing, and feel the warm sun on your face is overwhelming.

our yard looks so green and healthy right now... the flowers and plants are in full bloom, and the grass is lush and thick. it's beautiful. the other day when we were outside in the garden, my sister was starting to pick a flower, and a little rabbit hopped out from under the bush! it was so sweet. so now we have a little rabbit burrow in our garden, so we may be seeing some rabbit kits soon!

Hey Guys!

Hope everyone had a great weekend/memorial day! We sure did : ) And I had a really fun time at my friend's house! I got back on Sunday late afternoon/evening, then on Monday (yesterday) we had a Memorial Day cookout and everything! Here are a couple pix i took yesterday...

Weekend

Hi!

Hey!

Sorry I haven't posted in soooo long, but i've been busy with school, and lots of other stuff : )

I can't wait for summer!! on Saturday we went swimming... it was soooo nice to be in the sun, and swim! aaaand i needed a tan : ) hehe. When we first got there, no-one was in the pool, so we didn't know what was going on, then someone told us a kid had thrown up in the water, so they were sterilizing the pool : ) we had to wait about 20 min. before getting in.

When my sisters and i were swimming, this little boy who was like 5-6 years old, came up and wanted to play with us... i LOVE lil kids, BUT he was reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaallllllyyyyyy annoying! First of all i DO NOT like it when kids hang on me, and crawl on my back, and pull on me (which he was doing ; D), and WON'T leave me alone... and i didn't even KNOW the boy!! yeah, you get the idea! BUT, now that i've got that out of the way (hahaha! i'm so dramatic ; P), what has everyone else been up to?

Yesterday at church, Noelle and Jeff and Anna had an End of the Year Awana ceremony... it was really cute! : ) since they had JUST started going to Awanas, they didn't get a TON of prizes, but they had fun anyways <3

This morning Anna had a doctor appointment, cause she hasn't been feeling very well for the last couple weeks... we're still waiting for the diagnostics from the doctor.

Well, better go!!

Back!!

Hi!!

I'm back!! Sorry it's been S.O. LONG since I last posted but *clearing throat* there were some "personal" issues, which caused almost two weeks off the computer ; P hehe... but ANYWAY, we've been really busy recently... my brother Doug is taking guitar lessons at the same place where i take piano lessons, and right now he's working on a song by Chris Tomlin called "I Will Rise"... it sounds REALLY good!!! And I just finished a song by Chris Tomlin called "Praise the Father, Praise the Son"... i LUV this song!! hehe

I have made a resolution that by the end of this week, i am able to do a split (ouch!)... it is coming along pretttyyyyyy good... almost able to do it!! I'll post a pic of me when I'm able 2 do it!! (hopefully ; D)

Right now my younger brother and sisters are getting ready for Awana, and Doug, Dad and I are going to Lowes... YAY! ...You know I'm kidding, right? If you want me to start crying, bring me to Lowes... yes, i dislike it THAT much! So, anyway, in the morning my lil' sis and I have dentist appointments, and on Saturday my mom and sisters and I are going strawberry picking at a farm.
