Hello :)

Hello lovelies :)

Wooowwww....it has been forever since I last posted. 5 months! I'm so sorry it's been so long. I feel like I should let y'all know why exactly I took the break, and what's going on in my life!

When I decided to take the break, I felt like my Christian walk really wasn't that strong. I felt almost like a hypocrite. Doing these "perfect" sounding Christian posts, about how to be a "good Christian" and everything, when I myself really wasn't growing in my walk with God. I hardly ever even read my bible, and my prayer life had really grown weak. now, im not saying that now im a perfect person....far from it! i am still working hard on growing in Jesus, and He continues to point out sins in my life ever day. God has pointed out many sins in my life that I had been holding onto, that I really just needed to rid from my life. First of all, I had started to get really obsessed with non-Christian music. Now, not all non-Christian music is bad (obviously not, because i still love one direction ;D), but you really need to give yourself guidelines. Now, the last thing I want to do is give you all rules for what you can and can't listen to, but I felt like for in MY life, it wasn't best to be listening to all the secular music. So a couple months ago I decided to remove ALL secular music from my life except for one direction. I don't really necessarily feel like one direction's music is sinful, but even sometimes I can get carried away with them. So, no matter what music it is you enjoy, it isn't really necessarily "bad", unless YOU make it that way! By making them into an idol. And I'll be the first to admit that I have done that. That's why i decided I needed to remove a lot of it from my life. So, just wanted to get that out of the way, and let y'all know what was goin' on ;) so from now on, I'm going to try my hardest to make this blog an uplifting place to come to, to receive encouragement when you need it, and really just to point you to the one and only person that you really need....and that's Jesus Christ.

Now, to catch up a little on my life (yay!), I thought I'd post some pictures to give ya a little sneak peak of my summer :)

Dear Isabelle,
I'm so glad to hear about what God has been convicting you of and changing in your heart recently! I went through the same thing last year (indeed, I still am, but you go through different levels...sanctification never ends!) And I definitely can relate to the secular music thing. I began wondering why I was listening to that music when it wasn't uplifting or setting my mind on Him.

I know for a fact that God loves to catch the attention of today's teens and I think that the more you read your Bible, the more you pray, and the more you rely on God's awesome grace, the more you will find your life blossoming into a life that will bless all around you and most importantly, be focused on Jesus Christ, our Redeemer.

Wonderful pictures and I hope you're having a great Summer!

I was starting to wonder if you'd ever come back to the Bloggy world! :)

Props to you though for listening to what God was speaking to your heart, and taking action to strengthen your relationship with Him!

Anyways, I for one am glad to see your blog back up and running, and can't wait to hear more from you! :)

Blessings!

Hey Isabelle! Thanks for being honest here on your blog about your struggles. Being honest isn't always easy to do! I too have been struggling with my walk with the Lord and I want to be used by Him. Please pray for me and I will be praying for you! You are a beautiful girl on the outside, and even though i've never met you in person or talked with you on the phone, you are a sweet, encouraging girl on the inside! Have a great day girl! :)
