Fashion Tip

Hey Everyone!

Today I'm just gonna do a Fashion Tip post for you girls!

Here is one outfit I designed:

Ok, this is basically a casual outfit, but it has some "nicer" things in it, so you could wear it to the mall, or out on a date, or anything like that. I would sort of label it "Vintage Chic/Modern". The leather jacket is kind of vintage, the top is chic/vintage,  the jeans aren't really super special, and the sunglasses and boots kinda just pull the whole outfit together :)



 This one is a little nicer, so you could probably wear it to church... I have to say i LOVE this one! I think I saw someone wearing this skirt on a Disney show... i'd label it Vintage :)

So, to look nice, it doesn't have to cost a lot of money!(at all!) You can just find things from in your wardrobe and throw them together (not literally) and you could be surprised at how cute of an outfit YOU could make! I mean, there could be things you were wanting to get rid of, but by just adding a scarf, a cute pair a shoes, or anything like that, it could be cute! And it would save money :) And if you had an old skirt that was about knee-length or above, you could add another short skirt (or tulle) underneath to make it fuller, or have tulle coming out from the bottom :)

I heard this song start playing a few weeks ago on the radio, and I've loved it ever since :) It is so beautiful! I love the lyrics... they're so true! Because God has redeemed us, we don't have to live in the past anymore! He has set us free! How hard is it sometimes to remember things from the past, and get angry or upset or fearful? I know I can :) But Jesus came to set the sinners free so we can live for HIM! Please listen to the song below, and remember to turn off my playlist first!

Hey friends!

Tonight my mom and sisters and I got to have a "girls day out"! It was SO fun :) We went to the mall to do some "real" shopping and window shopping :) One of my favorite things to do :) We went to Claires, New York and Co., Bath and Body Works and a few other places... including one of my favorite places- STARBUCKS! Lol :) i'm hyper from that! I got the BEST drink EVER :) It was a Iced Mocha Frappe!

And it was SO cool, cause when we had JUST walked into New York and Co., Make a Move by Royal Tailor started playing in the store at TOP volume! We thought it was too cool... partly cause we met Royal Tailor and went to their concert, AND because the store was playing a Christian song! :)

 

I'm sorry I haven't done a "devotion" type of post in awhile... I haven't really had the inspiration for one, or the time :) But I will try to do one soon!

 

Sorry it's so short, but I just wanted to write a quick post before going to bed!

Guess who went running?!

 

No makeup. Nothing special. Just got up and went running :)

I highly dislike running, but I heard that running is really good for your health (duh!), and your skin, so I tried it! I ran about a mile or two on Wednesday, then I ran about a mile yesterday :)And in between running, I've been eating vegetable and fruit salads, drinking a ton of water, and taking Zinc pills! yeah, I'm trying to get perfect skin :)

I think you guys had said that you wanted to see a before-and-after of my hair, so I took a few pictures! They came out kinda blurry, but I think it will give you a prettty good idea!

 

So there ya go!

 

I haven't done a Fashion Tip post in a long time! Sorry about that :) Anyways, I might as well do one now!

 

When you curl you hair, it's usually a good idea to strait iron it first. That way your hair will be looser and glossier, and easier to work with. Then just ad a loose curl at the ends of you hair.

Hey Everyone!

It's been awhile since I did a last post... sorry! But, it wasn't just because I didn't want to do a post, but (like always), we've been busy!

I have SO much to post about, and again, so little time to do it in! So, I'll just try to give you a brief overview!

Mom bought a {small} pool for Anna and Gabe to swim in... they've been loving it! Here are a few pictures!
